Labiaplasty - rejuvenate your private parts

What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is popularly referred to as the ‘health elixir’, as it restores your skin’s smoothness, firmness and desired color. As early as around 25 years of age, the human body starts producing less and less collagen, causing the aging process of the skin - wrinkles and creases develop, and the skin becomes flaccid and saggy. Hyaluronic acid production decreases significantly with age, which may lead to deterioration, not only of your skin but also other body parts, because hyaluronic acid constitutes the building blocks of blood vessels and a component of body fluids.

How is hyaluronic acid used?
Hyaluronic acid is used for example in orthopedics, in treatment of joint and bone conditions, and in such case it is supplied to the body in injections, to quickly restore and strengthen the patient’s bones or cartilage. Hyaluronic acid substance is also used in ophthalmology, as an aid in dry eye syndrome. Hyaluronic acid is an ingredient of many eyedrop products and contact lens solutions, as it alleviates irritations, moistens the eyes and prevents excessive dryness. Moreover, hyaluronic acid is used in aesthetic gynecology for revitalization and augmentation of intimate body parts. You can call and make an appointment for procedures in this field of aesthetic gynecology at the renowned Dr Parta Aesthetic Medicine Clinic.

How is hyaluronic acid produced?
Hyaluronic acid is extremely popular for its properties, built with genetically modified bacteria which, through microbiological fermentation, produce a substance that can be later extracted and injected under human skin. The hyaluronic acid produced by these bacteria is identical to that produced by the human body, which makes it absolutely safe for people - it only needs a treatment process. Had the hyaluronic acid not been treated properly, complications could occur after the procedure, and the product would be quickly excreted from the body. Following the bacteria removal process, hyaluronic acid is cross-linked, which means the addition of a thickening agent to link the acid particles together. This is the form in which hyaluronic acid will remain in the skin longest; the more cross-linked it is, the more effectively it will fill any gaps in the skin texture. Therefore, at Dr Parda Aesthetic Medicine Clinic, we use best quality hyaluronic acid for smoothing wrinkles and visible creases, for body parts augmentation, and for genital area rejuvenation, which is called labiaplasty.

What is the procedure for intimate rejuvenation?
Collagen production in the human body decreases with age, which affects our intimate areas as well. A hyaluronic acid application procedure is one of the solutions to that problem, offering deep hydration and smoothing, as well as volume augmentation. The procedure takes about 30 minutes. The patient receives Desiral as hyaluronic acid preparation, applied by an experienced medical professional to the front wall of the vagina, which will not only become firm and elastic, but also more sensitive to stimulation.

When should you consider the procedure?
· when you experience skin limpness on the labia,
· when you suffer from vaginal dryness and irritation,
· when you suffer from incontinence,
· when you feel pain during intercourse,
· when you have a burning and itchy sensation around your intimate parts,
· when you have vaginal or perineal cutting scars.

Which tests do you have to take to qualify for a procedure?
· blood clotting test,
· urine test,
· complete blood test,
· cytology.

Who should avoid hyaluronic acid application?
Every aesthetic medicine procedure with the use of hyaluronic acid should be consulted with a well-qualified and experienced physician. You should not undergo any cosmetic procedures if you are not sure about their impact on your health. Even though hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the human body, there are still several contraindications to procedures involving its use. First of all, pregnant women and breastfeeding women should not get hyaluronic acid treatments. Other contraindications for the procedure include autoimmune diseases and a tendency to develop hypertrophied scars. You should decide against the procedure if you are being treated for cancer or you are hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid. The procedure is not recommended while you have an active inflammatory condition on the skin, such as herpes or acne. If you have aesthetic medicine procedures regularly, such as neuromodulator, laser therapy, or microdermabrasion, you should keep an appropriate interval between the procedures, at least 3 weeks.
