An important day for Polish aesthetic medicine

On April 15, 2021, the Presidium of the Supreme Medical Council took up the position of 48/21, which is extremely important for the aesthetic medicine industry. It concerns the authorizations necessary to perform procedures included in treatments in the field of aesthetic medicine. In this way, the issue of the necessary competences of people performing invasive procedures and the sub-procedures were regulated, and in line with the position of the Council, they can only be performed by medical professionals.

These procedures includes:

1) injections,

2) blood draws.

This is another important step in protecting patients' health and avoiding unnecessary postoperative complications.
