Sauna lowers the risk of ALZHEIMER!
Research conducted in Finland, which covered 14,000 people over 39 years, showed correlations between using a sauna and reducing the risk of Alzheimer's disease.
According to them, the most beneficial effect was achieved by using the sauna 9 to 12 times a month, for 5 to 15 minutes during a single session.
However, the key is the temperature, which must be between 80 and 99 degrees Celsius. Above 100 degrees, the sauna has the opposite properties. That's why temperature control is so important!
The main mechanism stimulated by the sauna is the so-called "heat shock proteins," which may help regulate cell function and maintain protein homeostasis in the brain.
