The second face of vitamins

Their name comes from the Latin word "vita" which means life. According to common knowledge, the more we consume the better, however, as it turns out, vitamins should be approached with a certain amount of reserve. Especially if we reach for their synthetic substitutes, which we introduce into the body in the form of a single selected vitamin or a group of vitamins in the hope of maximizing their effect.

As research shows we can harm ourselves in this way, especially if we choose their dosage incorrectly. In vegetables and fruits vitamins coexist with a number of chemicals that affect their digestibility and operation in our body.

Maybe it is worth changing your diet to a much richer in vegetables and fruits and valuable sources of unsaturated fatty acids such as fish, seafood or eggs? Unfortunately, contrary to popular belief, vitamins can be overdosed, so we also must be careful when changing our diet. An excessive amount of popular vitamins such as C, D, A or E can cause serious problems and even damage individual organs of our body.

So what is the best path? We recommend moderation and striving to preserve the golden mean, as well as limiting synthetic substitutes in favor of natural, wholesome food products.
