Histopathological section
Histopathological section collection is one of basic dermatology procedure, which explicitly allows to determine character of suspicious skin changes. Section collected from patient is passed to histopathological microscope analysis. Section is collected in result of biopsy. The procedure is done in local anaesthesia so it is painless for patient.
Histopathological test is connected with skin oncological diseases detection. It allows to assess, if tested change is benign or carcinoma. Section taken to test should cover place of change together with surrounding part of skin. The result of test is achieved through accurate microscope dissection.
Indication to test can be diagnosis or suspicion of cancer change. Thanks to detailed analysis, change can be assessed in terms of histopathological form and carcinoma level. Fast detection of skin cancer allows to diagnose and order right treatment on early stage of disease. Histopathological test is used also to diagnosis of inflammatory and degenerative diseases.
