PDLLA

PDLLA contains L-polylactic acid that increases the concentration of natural collagen. This is how it restores the face skin volume that has been lost in time, improves skin structure and performs natural lifting, thus uplifting slack face areas. PDLLA acts progressively, improving skin firmness and appearance. The final result shows up after a few weeks and, therefore, it is perceived by others as something natural rather than forced by treatment.

The procedure is recommended to any person older than 30 who has noticed a loss of body fat and facial skin laxity. As an exception, the treatment can be recommended for younger people affected by facial fatty tissue loss associated with chronic diseases.

The procedure consists of application of the preparation to selected face areas. The injections are not painful but more sensitive patients can use local anesthesia. The session ends with a face massage for adequate distribution of the preparation. Then, at home, the patient is required to massage his or her face gently 3-5 minutes three times a day, for 2-3 weeks. The face should not be exposed to sun or other UV radiation sources for a few days.
