Lift threads
Our skin changes in time. It becomes thinner, drier and less silky. This happens because the body loses its ability to produce collagen and its elastic fibers continue to degrade. As a consequence, skin becomes susceptible to wrinkling and drooping. The conventional face lifting could help in some cases but many patients experiencing early skin drooping can take benefit of the lifting and revitalizing threads. This is a treatment ideal for those who have just started to develop creases and drooping skin in the central lower parts of the face and neck and are not ready to decide on surgery with all its likely consequences. This is why the procedure relying on the threads is often referred to as the lifting without the scalpel.
The procedure is preceded by a medical consultation for identification of counterindications and for evaluation of benefits. It consists of subcutaneous placement of threads in selected areas. The procedure is painless thanks to application of local and/or permeation anesthesia.
Threads used in the aesthetic medicine are made from materials that produce no autoimmune reactions. Some are smooth, others carry micro-hooks. Procedures relying on application of threads offer many benefits and provide long-term (1-5 years) results. They can be applied on any part of the body including face.
