Facial redness treatment

Acne erythematosa is a chronic disease appearing through facial skin inflammation. It covers mainly the central parts of the face, causing erythema and telangiectasia. It is often associated with subcutaneous papulae and pustules, as well as persistent skin itching and burning. Broken and enlarged vessels are the direct cause of the disease.

In contrast to common acne, the usual disease of adolescence, it affects mainly people aged 25+. Also, the treatment of acne erythematosa requires different methods. First of all, the patient should visit a dermatologist for a check of the skin condition and for recommendation of adequate ointments or oral antibiotics. But this can turn out ineffective in more difficult cases.

If the conventional treatment fails, the aesthetic medicine can offer an effective therapy, such as the irradiation with the vascular laser. The WAN-TECH V-LASER device used by our Clinic is a very effective and safe tool in the treatment of telangiectasias on the face and lower limbs. The risk of complications is minimal. In addition, the same (very sophisticated) device can be used for the treatment of skin hyperpigmentation and laxity (the Genesis procedure).

The beam of light emitted by the V-LASER penetrates skin. The energy reaching the target vessel is absorbed by hemoglobin, so the vessel heats up rapidly and gets destroyed. The result shows up after just one procedure but more sessions can be required for curing the vascular problem.
