VASCULAR LASER is a versatile device. Long pulses at 532 nm and 1064 nm with variable pulse duration are effective in skin treatment, making it possible to perform procedures such as vessel closure, treatment of varicose veins, and removal of spider veins. By delivering the thermal energy of the laser beam to the skin chromophores, irreversible thermal damage is induced within a specific time frame without damaging the surrounding tissues.
A higher absorption coefficient and shallower penetration depth (epidermis) in both haemoglobin and melanin allow its use in epidermal vascular and pigmented lesions, such as rosacea, port-wine stains or lentigines. A lower absorption coefficient and greater penetration depth (dermis) in both haemoglobin and melanin allow its use in vascular and pigmented lesions of the dermis.
