Beautydoc Academy Conference with the participation of world-class experts
Recently an exciting conference was held devoted to the issue of complications after injection procedures. Appreciated specialists such as Dr. Barbara Parda, Rosa Sigrist and prof. Wioletta Barańska-Rybak appeared on stage to share their knowledge. The conference organized by Beautydoc Academy was held to rise awareness among participants about the latest reports on the mechanisms of complications after such procedures, their prevention and ways of dealing with their occurrence.
During the event not only topics related to the diagnosis of complications were discussed but specialists also talkeda bout fillers and use of mobile high-frequency devices. Law specialists, including attorney Urszula Mierzejewska and her team, discussed formal issues related to complications after procedures. Thanks to the practical approach of the conference, participants also had the opportunity to take part in workshops conducted by experienced specialists.
What made the workshops stand out?
- Mini-training using ultrasound under the supervision of Dr. Sigrist,
- Exercises with injection of hyaluronic acid and hyaluronidase on phantoms under ultrasound guidance with the participation of Dr. Parda,
- Discussion of business aspects related to the implementation of ultrasound in clinics led by Manager Wiktoria Włodarska,

After a day full of lectures and practical classes participants had the opportunity to test their acquired knowledge in practice. The next day Dr. Parda and Dr. Sigrist conducted a course using ultrasound in aesthetic medicine at a basic level, teaching, among others correct reading of ultrasound images and filler imaging using ultrasound. The participants also had the opportunity to learn how to perform injections under ultrasound control on phantoms to put their knowledge into practice. On the third day an advanced course using ultrasound in facial imaging was held, expanding knowledge about diagnosing complications in ultrasound and analyzing clinical cases. Doctors also had the opportunity to learn how to map the face and blood vessels using ultrasound and improve their skills in administering fillers and hyaluronidase under ultrasound guidance on patients with and without complications.
