Laser treatments throughout the year
As a general rule, we refrain from conducting laser treatments in the summer due to the high likelihood of pigmentation formation. Additionally, after undergoing a laser procedure, it is recommended to avoid sun exposure for at least 30 days and to apply SPF 50 sunscreen. Another issue in laser therapy is tanned skin, on which the laser beam can cause pigmentation. For these reasons, most laser treatments are impossible to perform in the summer or spring.
Fortunately, many modern lasers operate in a very precise manner, minimizing the risk of burns. There are year-round lasers on the market, such as the 1064/532 wavelength surgical laser with genesis procedure used in our Clinic. Thanks to an innovative, intelligent method of adapting pulses to the skin's needs, safe parameters can be used in the treatment, thereby not risking skin burns. The laser works selectively, without damaging the epidermis. Therefore, treatments using this technology can be performed throughout the year, even on tanned skin.
The effect of the genesis procedure leads to rapid regeneration and revitalization of the skin by stimulating collagen to produce new fibers. It helps improve skin firmness, narrows enlarged pores, and also improves skin tone. It is also effective in reducing fine wrinkles and treating rosacea. The genesis procedure does not cause undesirable side effects, which qualifies it as a so-called "banquet treatment" that can be performed before a "big event". Due to the comfort of the treatment and the absence of post-procedure marks, it is popular among both women and men. We combine it in one session with other procedures.
