Liquid/classic botulinum
Botulinum toxin (botox) is administered to patients frequently, not only for aesthetic but also for medical indications. In contrast to many plastic surgery procedures, the botox injection is a relatively low-invasive rejuvenating treatment. The safety of the injection depends on observance of relevant preparation standards, selection of the target area and dose and on compliance with follow-up recommendations. The procedure does not require anesthesia and the clinical result of relaxation of facial muscles builds up gradually within 10-14 days after which a checkup visit is recommended, the cost of which is typically included in the charge for the first visit. Depending on the area of application, the result holds up for approximately 3-6 months. depending strongly on individual condition of the patient. The treatment does not preclude normal activity, so the patient can return to his or her daily life, subject to observance of recommendations.
